My name is Nicole Saenz

Born and raised in New York, my journey into art has always been deeply personal. Drawing has been a grounding force for me since I first explored it in a college art class, where I discovered the powerful connection between creativity and self-reflection. After years of navigating my own path, I entered the field of psychiatric nursing later in life, finding new purpose in supporting others through their own struggles.

My work now brings together these experiences, exploring themes of vulnerability, resilience, and identity. Each piece reflects the complex layers of human experience, inviting viewers to confront their own emotions and uncover strength within fragility. Through my art, I hope to create a space where others can see that resilience is not the absence of struggle, but the beauty of persisting through it.
